Jazz Nuances offers a repertoire of jazz standards with a sound and feel
reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s West Coast Cool Sound. The Quartet specializes in background music to enhance dinners,
parties, weddings, fund-raisers and other special events. Rather than provide
main event stage performances, Jazz Nuances adds touch and class to your conversations
and festivities.
Especially popular and well known in Northern California, the Quartet plays regularly at some of the best restaurants, hotels, country clubs, and wineries in the region, and monthly (Saturdays) at Sudwerk in Davis. Recent 2008 year end events include:

Jazz Nuances also plays regularly on the U. C. Davis campus, including fund raisers (Medical School), sporting events (Athletic Hall of Fame, team banquets) and special events (picnic day), and in the Wine Country: the Villa Restaurant, Santa Rosa, fund raisers for District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua, Sonoma County and the Kendall-Jackson Wine Center, reception to honor the Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the California Supreme Court.
